JULY 23, 2007 -- Westover Scientific (search for Westover) has announced release of the new HD3 compact video display. Used with Westover's probe microscope, the HD3 is designed to be a highly portable and efficient display for viewing and inspecting fiber connector endfaces.

The HD3 is designed with an ergonomic form that is compact, portable, and easy to use. An ideal solution for technicians in the field or on-the-go, acording to Westover Scientific, it features a precision 1.8" TFT LCD screen incorporated into a durable, drop tested enclosure and is powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery. The HD3 is available as a stand alone display or as a part of select inspeciton kits.
