Russian telecom services provider ER-Telecom Holding has selected Netcracker Technology's Digital BSS to reduce time-to-market for new products, centralize and consolidate core processes and systems, and improve customer experience.
ER-Telecom Holding's deployment of Netcracker BSS products includes Digital Marketplace, Customer Channel Management, Sales & Marketing Management, Customer & Partner Management, Revenue Management, Product Management and Hybrid Service & Resource Management offerings.
ER-Telecom Holding provides broadband Internet, WiFi, VPN, TV, telephony, IoT and video surveillance services in 567 cities in Russia.
Indonesia
Indonesian media group MNC Group has selected Anevia's NEA-DVR multiscreen TV origin/packager and NEA-CDN solutions to increase the scale of its OTT streaming platform, MNC Now.
With 2.5 million subscribers, MNC is expanding its OTT offering through its MNC Now platform. The deployment of Anevia's OTT solutions is intended to provide MNC Now with multiscreen functionality, live TV, catchup TV and VOD services for 160 channels.
Myanmar
NAGRA announced the launch of its Conax GO Live multiscreen OTT solution with Canal+ International subsidiary, Canal+ Myanmar FG. The announcement marks the first cloud deployment of the Conax GO Live solution in the Asia-Pacific region.
The new service is intended to enable subscribers to watch linear pay TV channels on iOS or Android devices, with support for Apple AirPlay and Google Cast. GO Live also offers start-over and catchup TV with electronic program guide (EPG) functionality. The new pay TV offering runs on the AWS cloud and operates on the Conax Contego unified content security platform with multi-DRM support.
UK
UK fiber network operator Zzoomm has selected ADTRAN (NASDAQ:ADTN) as its technology partner to build a 10G FTTH network to serve suburbs and towns across the United Kingdom.
Zzoomm recently announced the official launch of its fiber network and plans to begin construction this summer with the goal to connect 1 million previously underserved properties over the next five years to a 10 Gbps-capable network.
The operator is specifically targeting its services to suburbs of major cities, including London, as well as towns and smaller cities across the UK. Zzoomm plans to use the ADTRAN 10G fiber access platform with XGS-PON to support symmetrical 10 Gbps service at a competitive price.
Malaysia
Ooyala is providing content management, syndication and distribution for Media Prima Berhad in Malaysia. As a result, Media Prima has reduced the time taken for online content preparation and processing by up to 80%, Ooyala says.
Media Prima, a digital-first content and commerce company, offers video content via its over-the-top (OTT) service tonton, and through various platforms and partners like YouTube, Dailymotion, Facebook and Viu.
