Ritter Communications, among the largest privately held telecommunications service providers exclusively serving the U.S. Mid-South region, announced that it is expanding its telecom and advanced cloud solutions to the city of Jackson, Missouri. The provider said the new $2.3 million project is a self-funded investment to benefit businesses and schools in the Jackson community. It is Ritter Communications second fiber broadband expansion project in Missouri. The company previously announced its first expansion project in the state to Cape Girardeau in October 2022.
Ritter Communications is the first to bring XGS-PON technology to the Jackson area. The technology uses 100% fiber connectivity to power the company’s full suite of reliable high-quality broadband solutions and telecom services with speeds up to 100 gigabits per second. In addition, customers have access to the Ritter Communications Data Technology Center, a world-class, highly secure facility equipped with local customer support teams, offering advanced cloud solutions to meet the unique information security and storage needs of businesses.
Ritter Communications CEO Alan Morse commented:
“The need for high-quality broadband services continues to increase. The services we offer and the solutions that come with them ensure all organizations can continue their day-to-day operations by providing access to tools needed to utilize services previously unreachable.”
Ritter Communications chief revenue officer Kyle Keith said:
“We are pleased to roll out our services to the Jackson business community. With signals that travel at the speed of light, our 100% fiber high-speed internet connectivity will give Jackson businesses a competitive advantage.”
Construction of the Jackson project is scheduled to be completed in February, when businesses may begin to reap the benefits of 100% fiber services. Headquartered in Jonesboro, Arkansas, regional telecommunications provider Ritter Communications serves more than 123 communities across four states.
