Vecima Networks (TSX:VCM) has released the latest version of its MediaScaleX//Storage software-defined, hybrid object storage system. Utilizing container technology, MediaScaleX//Storage is designed to host video applications including live and on-demand content life-cycle management, time-shifted TV streaming, just-in-time packaging, protection and delivery to any IP device as well as legacy set-top boxes, powered by a video-optimized data interface.

Upgrades in the MediaScaleX//Origin 4.1 software include support forconverged deployment on the MediaScaleX//Storage platform. The new deployment model takes advantage of cloud-based microservices.
Vecima is showcasing its end-to-end solutions, including the MediaScaleX video delivery platform at the NAB Show 2019 in Las Vegas.
