MediaScaleX//Storage is a video-optimized, software-defined storage platform built to keep up with the increasing demands placed on service providers. Designed to enable seamless deployment, configuration, monitoring and upgrades, it includes a data interface layer that allows applications such as cloud DVR/nDVR to use multiple storage technologies transparently. This application can deploy in scalable, containerized environments, resulting in ultra-high-performance video storage used to absorb large burst workloads when popular programs are recorded. Data is smoothly transitioned to high-efficiency, lower cost disk drives for long-term archival, which mitigates issues common to other video storage systems and drives user experience improvements.

Judge's Comment: "This looks to be a very scalable solution for MSOs looking at large rates of video storage. I have not seen this approach before and believe this will be something companies will be looking at in the future."
