Sticklers fiber-optic products by MicroCare is expanding its fiber cleaning portfolio with new tools and cleaners. New products include a compact end-face cleaning tool, a lint-free wipe for duplex connectors, and a new package size for the company's fiber cleaning fluid.

The CleanClicker 400 is a miniaturized end-face cleaning tool designed to deliver 400 cleanings per unit. It's intended for cleaning in tight spaces in data centers, central offices or cable headends. It's designed for 1.25mm end-face configurations, including LC, MU, ODC, ARINC801, NECON and hardened connectors.

Sticklers Clean Wipes 640 are designed to remove fingerprints, oil, polishing compounds, dust and lint. Electrically-dissipative packaging is intended to eliminate static and improve cleaning results. The product has eight CleanSwipe cleaning slots, which are color-coded using the TIA-598-D scheme, for single-pass cleaning of both 1.25 and 2.5 mm duplex connectors. Each package has the capacity to clean 640 end-faces.

Sticklers Fiber Optic Splice & Connector Cleaner fluid, previously available in a 3-ounce canister, is now available in a 10-ounce size. The larger package of nonflammable liquid is intended for fiber-optic connectors and for use during fusion splicing.
