octoScope announced its new STACK-WFA testbed for automated WiFi 6 testing of access point (AP) and station (STA) devices. STACK-WFA comes pre-configured with built-in AP and STA devices for testing WiFi 6 features. Servers, such as RADIUS, needed for feature testing are included with the testbed.

"New test offerings, such as octoScope's STACK-WFA, will help the industry prepare for the certification process and improve device interoperability in the field."

Members of the Wi-Fi Alliance may work with our engineers to install the system and train new users in one to two days in order to test WiFi 6 features and prepare for WiFi CERTIFIED 6 testing," said Fanny Mlinarsky, president of octoScope.
Stackable and configurable octoBox personal testbeds are isolated from external interference and can be used at an engineer's office or lab bench. Each testbed is controlled by a dedicated Node.js web server accessible via a browser UI for manual control, or via REST API for test automation. The server provides the time base for the testbed and controls the built-in instruments, DUT configuration, traffic, and test flow. Test results are saved in a MongoDB database, enabling multiple teams to collaborate by sharing the test automation scripts and test results.
