Vecima Entra Access Simulators are virtual testing tools that let network operators simulate thousands of distributed access devices and customer equipment at production scale. They emulate DAA devices and customer premises equipment (CPE) at production scale to validate three main elements: virtual and physical CCAP cores, PON OLTs, and other critical broadband network elements. The platform ensures consistent and repeatable test execution across complex multi-vendor environments, reducing human error and enabling continuous regression testing before field deployment. Operators can emulate thousands of RPDs and virtual cable modems without physical hardware, dramatically reducing cost and accelerating validation cycles. In tandem with Entra Access Test Platform, Vecima's Entra Access Simulators are designed to validate interoperability across major vCMTS vendors, while supporting RPDs compliant with the CableLabs® R-PHY specification. The platform is already gaining momentum. In September 2025, Liberty Global announced it was advancing its network innovation strategy by leveraging Vecima’s Entra® Access Test Platform.
