Aeroflex acquires TriLink Communications

Mar. 30, 2001--Aeroflex Incorporated announced it has acquired TriLink Communications Corporation for approximately 1.2 million shares of Aeroflex common stock.

Aeroflex Incorporated (Nasdaq: ARXX), a designer, developer and manufacturer of microelectronics and automated testing solutions for the broadband communications market, announced it has acquired privately held California-based TriLink Communications Corporation for approximately 1.2 million shares of Aeroflex common stock.

TriLink designs, develops and manufactures Lithium Niobate optical components, which are used as building blocks in fiber optic communication systems. TriLink currently offers a line of modulators for the 10G (OC 192) DWDM market.
