BrightLink partners with Valiant Networks to test BrightLink's optical switch

Valiant Networks Inc., a managed network services company dedicated to helping telecom carriers and vendors design, integrate and manage networks, announced a partnership with BrightLink Networks Inc. to test and evaluate BrightLink's BOSS 1000 optical switch.

Equipment vendors face significant obstacles bridging the gap between product development and deployment. Valiant Networks provides expert testing, validation and qualification for the most advanced telecommunications equipment helping vendors save both time and money. Valiant Networks provides ongoing technical assistance for equipment vendors, which BrightLink Networks is currently considering in addition to the testing and integration services.

The BOSS 1000 is a massively scalable optical switch that supports grooming and switching at the STS-1 level. The current switch is not limited by Moore's Law and scales to 1024 ports of OC48.
