DiCon Fiberoptics opens new corporate headquarters

June 1, 2001--DiCon Fiberoptics, a manufacturer of fiber optic components, modules and test instruments, announced the opening of its new corporate headquarters in Richmond, California.

DiCon Fiberoptics, a manufacturer of fiber optic components, modules and test instruments, announced the opening of its new corporate headquarters in Richmond, California. This new facility will be the primary base of operations for core research, product development, sales, administration and next-generation product manufacturing.

DiCon Fiberoptics' new corporate headquarters includes more than 201,000 square feet of floor space, of which 135,000 square feet will be dedicated to new product development and manufacturing. It is built on DiCon Fiberoptics' 28 acre campus in the Marina Bay district of Richmond, California. The new facility is in addition to 130,000 square feet which DiCon already operates in Richmond, California as well as 88,000 square feet in Kaoshiung, Taiwan.

DiCon Fiberoptics invested in these new facilities to expand its product portfolio and production capabilities for optical components.
