A new company has been created for the former Electronic Products Division of Brush Wellman Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brush Engineered Materials Inc. The new company, Zentrix Technologies Inc., now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brush Engineered Materials Inc., was formed to better reflect their business direction in the telecommunication and fiber optic industries and encompasses three existing business groups:
* Electronic Packaging Products Group (Newburyport, MA.), manufacturer of next generation CuPack Power and RF packaging solutions and direct bond copper substrates for wireless and fiber optic applications.
* Circuits Processing Technology Inc. (Oceanside, CA.), manufactures high frequency (44+EGHz) and high density multi-layer modular interconnection ceramic substrates for advanced wireless and fiber optic telecommunication infrastructures, medical, and military & defense applications.
* Powder Metallurgy Products Group (Tucson, AZ), manufactures copper/tungsten (Cu/W) composites and Functionally Graded Material (FGM) used in fiber optic (Internet) components, microwave and mm-wave metal-ceramic packages and assemblies.
