Feb. 22, 2001--Computer Automation Systems Inc., a telecommunications industry systems integrator, announced it has launched a plan to participate in the fiber optic multiplexing market.

Computer Automation Systems Inc. (OTCBB:CASX), a telecommunications industry systems integrator, announced it has launched a plan to participate in the fiber optic multiplexing market.

Mike Cherry, president and CEO of CASX, commented that CASX hopes to be in full production in late 2001. CASX' major products include switch controllers which monitor, control and operate the digital and optical switches which are at the heart of today's data and IP networks.
