Quantum Bridge announces alliance with Corning Cable Systems for fiber-to-the-business solutions

Quantum Bridge Communications, Inc., a developer of optical access networking solutions, announced the formalization of a strategic alliance with Corning Cable Systems, a manufacturer of fiber optic and copper communications network infrastructure solutions.

Quantum Bridge Communications, Inc., a developer of optical access networking solutions, announced the formalization of a strategic alliance with Corning Cable Systems, a manufacturer of fiber optic and copper communications network infrastructure solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Quantum Bridge has identified Corning Cable Systems as its preferred provider of passive optical network infrastructure solutions. Corning Cable Systems has also identified Quantum Bridge as its preferred supplier of fiber-to-the-business (FTTB) solutions and will provide strategic customers of Quantum Bridge with access to Corning Cable Systems' passive optical network infrastructure and components.

In addition to aiding in the deployment of fiber and optical components, the companies will work to jointly market, support and deploy optical access solutions into the public network. These efforts will include extensive cross-training efforts on the product lines of each company and the introduction of each company to appropriate customer prospects.
