Nokia Siemens Networks announces VAR agreement with Avion Systems

OCTOBER 30, 2009 -- Nokia Siemens Networks will work with Avion to offer products to meet the needs of a wider customer base, including Tier 3 service providers, and vertical customers, such as energy and transportation firms, across North America.

OCTOBER 30, 2009 -- Nokia Siemens Networks has signed a value-added reseller (VAR) agreement with Avion Systems, which joins its established Channel Partner Program. Nokia Siemens Networks will work with Avion to offer products to meet the needs of a wider customer base, including Tier 3 service providers, and vertical customers, such as energy and transportation firms, across North America.

Under the VAR agreement, Avion Systems will offer Nokia Siemens Networks' wireless technologies, including radio, core, and network management offerings, as well as Carrier Ethernet and optical portfolios to customers in the utility and energy and telecommunications space.
