JUNE 22, 2010 -- Fujitsu Optical Components (FOC) will open an Asia business support center for its optical components products based in Shenzhen, China, in addition to the existing facilities located in Sunnyvale, Calif., and Milan, Italy. This new Asia business support center will begin operation on June 21.
This strengthening of the global sales support network is expected to significantly expand its sales of optical components products worldwide, reveals a representative.
In recent years, business with customers in the Asian region (excluding Japan), has expanded rapidly (especially in China). The role of the Asian region as a manufacturing base for customers in Europe and USA has continued to increase. FOC has decided to open a specialized support organization (Asia business support center) for its optical components products based in Shenzhen, China in addition to the existing facilities located in North America and Europe.
