Cabling company Hexatronic Group has promoted three employees within its CTO office, including the appointment of Tomas Jendel as CTO. The promotions are expected to strengthen the group’s activities in the fiber to the home (FTTH), wireless infrastructure, and smart cities markets.

Tomas will head Hexatronic’s new systems group, where he is expected to focus on the development of cabling systems that are easy to install and lower total cost of ownership. The new CTO has a background in FTTH, including roles within R&D, product management, and management at Ericsson and Hexatronic.

Hexatronic says that Tomas has appointed two deputy CTOs to help him in these efforts. Peter Lo Curzio will focus on fiber-optic cables and ducts. He has 25 years of experience with FTTH in the Nordics as well as globally. The other deputy CTO, Kieran Stone, will focus on connectivity products. Kieran has 20 years of experience with connectivity products and FTTH systems both in the UK and globally.
