Jabil Inc. (NYSE: JBL) says the company has promoted Kenny Wilson to the role of chief executive officer (CEO) and member of the board of directors. He succeeds Mark Mondello who will remain the company’s executive chairman of the board.
Wilson steps up to CEO from his previous role as executive vice president and CEO of Jabil’s Green Point division in Asia; he also had responsibility for consumer packaging and corporate procurement. Wilson began his tenure at Jabil in 2000 as a business unit coordinator in Livingston, Scotland. Since then, he has held multiple leadership roles, including vice president of global business units, running businesses such as consumer electronics and telecommunications. Prior to Jabil, he spent eight years at Motorola where he served as operations manager in their Handset Division.
