ADVA Optical Networking names Nikos Theodosopoulos chairman of Supervisory Board

Optical transport systems vendor ADVA Optical Networking (FSE: ADV) has made Nikos Theodosopoulos chairman of its three-person Supervisory Board. He replaces the late Anthony Maher, who died last November.

Optical transport systems vendor ADVA Optical Networking (FSE: ADV) has made Nikos Theodosopoulos chairman of its three-person Supervisory Board. He replaces the late Anthony Maher, who died last November.

Theodosopoulos is also a member of the board of directors at Arista Networks. He is founder and managing director of NT Advisors LLC, which provides consulting services to companies, particularly in the areas of corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and investor positioning. He has significant background in equity research, having been managing director, technology equity research at UBS for 17 years and senior equity research analyst at Bear Stearns for almost a year and a half before that. He also has worked at AT&T Network Systems as an account executive and AT&T Bell Labs as a member of the technical staff.

Other members of the board include Vice Chairwoman Professor Dr. Johanna Hey, professor of tax law at the University of Cologne in Germany, and Eric Protiva managing director of EGORA Holding GmbH. Protiva is the father of ADVA Optical Networking CEO Brian Protiva.
