Lloyd Carney is the new CEO of data center network equipment provider Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD). Carney will also join Brocade's board of directors. He succeeds Michael Klayko, who has served as CEO since 2005. Carney has nearly 30 years of high-tech experience, most recently as CEO and member of the board of directors at Xsigo Systems, a privately held company focused on in data center virtualization. Previously, Carney was CEO of network management software company Micromuse, Inc. and held other leadership positions such as COO at Juniper Networks and president of Nortel Networks’ Core IP, Wireless Internet, and Enterprise divisions.
