There’s a new look at the top of the executive roster at Berk-Tek, a Nexans Company. Paul Trunk has stepped into the president slot from his previous role as senior vice president of sales and marketing at the fiber and copper cabling supplier. Phil Radics will assume Trunk’s former sales responsibilities with the title of vice president of sales.

Trunk becomes responsible for sales and marketing, operations, research and development, human resources, finance, and IT functions for the North America LAN division, including both the New Holland, PA, and Fuquay-Varina, NC, sites. He has 15 years of experience with the company already, during which he formed the NetClear alliance and developed the company’s OEM and national account programs.

Radics, meanwhile, becomes responsible for the direction and management of sales and business development operations within LAN, telecom, and new markets. Radics has been with Berk-Tek for 14 years, most recently as director of new business development.

“Phil has been a major contributor to Berk-Tek sales and product initiatives, such as pre-terminated fiber-optic cable assemblies, alliance and contractor warranty programs, OEM sales, and LAN global harmonization,” said Trunk. “Phil is uniquely qualified to lead the company in achieving its revenue targets, profit and strategic objectives.”

An announcement regarding who will take on Trunk’s previous marketing management duties has not yet been made.
