Eblana Photonics announces 1,300-nm 10G laser diodes for enterprise applications

MARCH 22, 2007 -- Eblana Photonics Ltd. has announced that it has extended its laser product offerings to incorporate lasers for use in IEEE 802.3ae 10G Ethernet, 10GBASE-LR/LRM/LW, and 10-Gbit/sec Fibre Channel applications.

(search for Eblana) has announced that it has extended its laser product offerings to incorporate lasers for use in IEEE 802.3ae 10G Ethernet, 10GBASE-LR/LRM/LW, and 10-Gbit/sec Fibre Channel applications. This latest product series extends and complements Eblana's existing family of isolator-free laser products that operate uncooled over the industrial temperature range of 40 °C to +85°C and which target high-volume applications such as GPON.
