AFL: Apex Fiber Optic Splice Closures

March 23, 2021
The Apex sealed splice closure is designed for protecting optical fiber splices.
The Apex sealed splice closure is designed for protecting optical fiber splices. The Apex X-2 is capable of up to 432 single fusion, 864 mass fusion with standard ribbon, or 3456 (200 μm, 1728 max for 250 μm) mass fusion with “rollable ribbon” fiber types such as SpiderWeb Ribbon® (SWR®).

Judge’s comment: “Density has taken on greater importance in many types of fiber networks. While a high-density fiber cable represents a big step forward, storing, protecting, and managing high fiber densities cannot be overlooked. AFL's Apex Fiber Optic Splice Closures are an important part of the high-density fiber ecosystem."
