Universal interface converter

The Model 8365 universal interface converter offers user programmability of three different interface selections: RS-422, RS-485 2-wire, and RS-485 4-wire. When used as an RS-232 to RS-422 interface converter, the unit converts full-duplex data, TD, and RD between single-ended RS-232 and full-differential RS-422. When used as an RS-232 to RS-485 converter, the device operates as a 2-wire half-duplex or 4-wire half- or full-duplex converter.
