Simplex Technologies Inc., Portsmouth, NH, has been awarded a contract by Schahin Cury Engenharia and Comercio Ltd., a Brazilian engineering company, to supply unrepeatered undersea fiber-optic cable for the Brazil domestic cable system. The system route runs from the northern landing point of Natal to eight other landing points along the Brazilian coastline, terminating at the southern landing station of Porto Seguro.
