Additionally, the company’s customers in Scranton, PA, and Binghamton, NY, can expect 2 Gbps plans to be offered soon as phase II of Empire Access’ buildouts in those areas.
In addition to gigabit-speed internet, Empire Access provides leading phone plans, security, home automation, streaming, video monitoring, and more across its service area. All of Empire Access’ services are backed by its fiber optic broadband network which stretches across large areas of NY and PA to reach several underserved communities.
Jim Baase, CEO at Empire Access, said that “symmetrical speeds are a massive advancement in many of the communities we serve, especially with the bandwidth demands of modern-day internet and the rise of working from home.”
