VIAVI Solutions: VIAVI ONE LabPro ONE-1600 1.6Tb/s Test Module

Feb. 26, 2025
VIAVI’s ONE-1600 module allows vendors to test at 1.6 Tbps today.

VIAVI’s ONE-1600 module allows vendors to test at 1.6 Tbps today to begin getting their products to market in anticipation of a steep 1.6 Tbps transceiver ramp in 2025. The ONE LabPro platform was designed to provide users with maximum platform flexibility, port density and scalability with a modern, web-based architecture and UI that simplifies tool management, promotes testing efficiencies, and reduces overall ownership costs. HSE-800 (800G) and ONE-1600 (1.6T) modules can be deployed in a star topology to perform tests in distributed locations for tool management efficiency. A single controller syncs with multiple modules, so users don’t have to deploy separate controllers for each test module or location.  The system supports multiple users operating on one physical port for additional efficiency.  VIAVI also offers a unique, pay-as-you-go, dynamic test port licensing model for lower and more predictable ownership and operation costs.
JUDGE'S COMMENT: "This product addresses the 1.6T testing need to support AI networks and is ready before it is necessary for production data center networks."
