Coherent: WaveAnalyzer 1500B High Resolution Optical Spectrum Analyzer

Coherent’s WaveAnalyzer 1500B High-Resolution Optical Spectrum Analyzer, with its coherent measurement technology, enables the development of next-generation modulation schemes for high-capacity optical communication networks.

Coherent’s WaveAnalyzer 1500B High-Resolution Optical Spectrum Analyzer, with its coherent measurement technology, enables the development of next-generation modulation schemes for high-capacity optical communication networks by providing an outstanding combination of measurement resolution, measurement speed, total wavelength coverage, absolute wavelength accuracy, and dynamic range. In addition, it enables significant cost reduction on the manufacturing floors of optical transceiver manufacturers as it combines the capabilities of two instruments in one box. The WaveAnalyzer offers the dynamic range of a traditional (grating-based) Optical Spectrum Analyzer and the frequency accuracy of a Wavelength Meter. Not only does this combination minimize the floorspace needed in labs and lower capital expenses, but the WaveAnalyzer 1500B streamlines the testing process by significantly reducing test time with a single high-speed scan in one instrument instead of switching between multiple instruments.
JUDGE'S COMMENT: "Coherent's 1500B offers uncompromising performance that enables cost-reduction in optical manufacturing."
