"The installation of AllWave ZWP gives Cablemas a competitive advantage over CATV providers in the area, by offering, increased bandwidth to improve the customer experience [of] triple play services," comments Enrique Lopez, OFS' Mexico sales manager. "Understanding Cablemas's emphasis on quality, price, post sales support, and training from our joint efforts last year, we were able to meet their new requirements in a real-time fashion."

The company says that installation of its AllWave ZWP optical fiber can increase capacity for video, voice, and data services by up to 50% in the areas served by Cablemas, by allowing transmission in the 1400-nm wavelength range.
