SUBSTRATE GLASS FOR DWDM FILTERS

A new family of substrate glasses for DWDM filters has thermal and environmental properties optimized for coating operations and performance. Two glasses, S7003 and S7006, available in sizes to 300 mm and above, were introduced at OFC 2000. They are designed to offer DWDM filter manufacturers increased efficiency in their process, while offering increased performance to the customer.
