BTI Systems says Adams Telephone Co-Operative has deployed BTI's equipment and software to upgrade and expand its network while providing new services like mobile backhaul and Ethernet business services. Adams Telephone serves consumers and businesses across Illinois, providing the full range of voice, video, Ethernet business, and mobile services.

Adams has deployed the BTI 7000 Series packet-optical networking platform and the proNX Service Manager with the SLA Portal software. The Metro Ethernet Forum CE-Certified BTI 7000 Series provides Adams with carrier-grade, modular, and scalable pay-as-you-grow configurations, the company says.
BTI's proNX Service Manager and SLA Portal software deliver end-to-end network management, service provisioning, and performance monitoring for mobile backhaul, Ethernet business services, and metro packet-optical core applications. Combined with the 7000 Series, this has enabled Adams to improve infrastructure efficiency, increase the rate of delivery of profitable high-value services, and deliver more highly scalable, flexible products that readily adapt to changing business needs.
