Fiber U correspondence courses

Developed by author and trainer Paul Rosenberg and the Fiber U staff, fiber-optic training courses offer the same training found in the Fiber U seminars. The programs are self-paced so students can learn at home at their own pace. The first course covers the basics of fiber optics; how fiber-optic cable works and how it is used in communications; components, such as connectors, splices and cables; and testing. The second course is the hands-on portion and covers fiber-optic cable handling, splicing and termination using the Fiber U toolbox, which is included with the course.
