Duplex LC Adapter mounts in SC Simplex panel

SEPTEMBER 10, 2007 — Y-Connect (Harrisburg, PA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Yazaki, launched a family of single- and multi-mode high-density LC adapters, available with proprietary modularized multi-port dust shutters.

The products, designed with secure panel-mount latching, are compatible with T.I.A. FOCIS 10-B duplex and quad panel cutouts. Users therefore can double connection densities using existing simplex and duplex SC adapter panel cut-outs.

Dust and eye protection from the shutters suits class III A (and lower) lasers. The products are RoHS compliant and meet UL 94 V-0 flammability requirements.

The adapters and dust shutters are available in MM, SM, and APC. Color choices include blue, beige, aqua, green, and black.
