DFB laser transmitter

Model 55TA DFB laser transmitter for Sonet OC-48 and SDH STM-16 is optically isolated for dense WDM at 1550 nm. The 2.5-Gbit/sec modules are specified for 2-dB maximum optical path penalty through 1200 psec/nm of dispersion; a low chirp option is available for dispersion paths up to 1800 psec/nm. The transmitter can be used for path lengths greater than 75 km with standard singlemode fiber-optic cable.
