Transmitter and receiver modules

SDT8008-T transmitter and SDT8908-R receiver transmit Sonet (OC-48) and SDH (STM-16) data streams over intermediate-reach distances of singlemode fiber. The transmitter is uncooled and uses a DFB laser diode. The PIN photodiode receiver has built-in clock recovery. A short-reach transmitter (SDT8028-T) based on an uncooled Fabry-Perot laser diode is also available.
