Global Opticom, Inc., introduced high power isolators for the next generation of optical amplifiers.

These products include single- and dual-stage isolators, working at different wavelengths: 1480, 1550 and 1585. After a year's research and testing, the company has developed a new process to improve these products' high-power handling capabilities. All of these products can handle 3 to 5 watts of continuous laser power, and all have passed Bellcore 1221.
