New LaserComm factory for optical components

LaserComm Inc. (Richardson, TX) is establishing a plant to manufacture its family of dispersion-management devices for the telecommunications and data-communications markets. The 15,000 square-foot facility in Plano, TX, will contain a lab for research, development, and testing purposes, along with a manufacturing area. Final construction is underway, with the plant's inauguration planned for January 2000.
