Broadband transmitter and receiver

The CATVLinx Model 2804T VSB-AM DFB laser-based 860-MHz transmitter has three optical output options (6 to 12 dBm). It allows for full 110-channel loading and transmission paths exceeding 20 km of singlemode fiber. The Model 2804R companion receiver is a 3-ft 5-inch standalone unit that includes a built-in power meter to determine the amount of light to reach the receiver and an adjustable optical attenuator at the optical input. Remote status monitoring of both transmitter and receiver can be done via connection to their respective status collector ports.
