Inphi says its Spica is the world’s first 800-Gbps PAM4 electro-optics platform for megascale data centers and AI networks.
Inphi says its Spica is the world’s first 800-Gbps PAM4 electro-optics platform for megascale data centers and AI networks. The 800G 7-nm PAM4 DSP solution supports 100G per lane with linear TIA and drivers for optical transceiver module applications in QSFP-DD800 or OSFP form factors.

Judge’s comment: “Deploying 100 Gbps per lane electrical interfaces will be a major transition point for the industry, and this industry-first 800G DSP enables the design of 800G pluggable modules with sub 14-W potential."
