March 31, 2006 Clearwater, FL -- Digital Lightwave and PE.fiberoptics have announced a strategic sales and marketing partnership whereby Digital Lightwave will sell and distribute PE.fiberoptics' range of portable chromatic dispersion and PMD analyzers exclusively in the United States, and on a non-exclusive basis in certain other territories.
PE.fiberoptics products' are used to characterize optical fiber in R&D, manufacturing, and field applications. Laboratory and portable models are available for testing chromatic dispersion, PMD, spectral attenuation, and other parameters that can impact the transport of higher data rates and multiple wavelengths. The company's ONA 600, Chromos 11, and Nexus products will allow Digital Lightwave to offer a complete fiber-optic characterization test platform, covering data rates of 10- and 40 Gbit/sec over DWDM infrastructure.

The PE.fiberoptics equipment will be sold through Digital Lightwave's direct sales personnel and distribution channels.
