Spirent’s B2 800G Native QSFP-DD800 Test Platform Appliance was developed to meet user needs with what the company says is its industry-leading 2X density advantage for QSFP-DD from its nearest competitor. It is designed with four ports and supports 1x800G, 2x400G, 4x200G, 8x100G, and 8x50G PAM4 modes in line with Ethernet Technology Consortium (ETC) 800GBASE-R over direct attach copper (DAC), active electrical cable (AEC), or optical transceivers. The appliance also supports Auto Negotiation and Link Training (AN/LT) for all speeds, and Spirent Smart Port Technology, a licensed feature that enables single port and speed upgrades for maximum value and flexibility.
