Finisar sampling 64-Gbaud micro integrated coherent receiver

Finisar's (NASDAQ: FNSR) CPRV422XA family of high-bandwidth OIF micro integrated coherent receiver (micro-ICR) Class 40 devices promises to enable coherent transmission systems targeting single-wavelength applications up to 600 Gbps. It supports rates up to 64 Gbaud and more complex modulation formats up to 64QAM.

"In addition to receivers, we are also continuing to enhance the capabilities of our advanced coherent components, including integrated TOSA and ROSA, narrow linewidth lasers, Mach-Zender modulators, and related electronics."

The CPRV422XA Class 40 Micro-ICR is currently sampling and is offered with an evaluation kit to support component and system integration testing.
