Wirewerks NextSTEP FLEX Module

Feb. 20, 2019
The Wirewerks NextSTEP FLEX Module is a ready-to-use 12/24-fiber MPO-MPO factory-terminated and -tested cable assembly with up to 30 m of trunk cable stored in an onboard reel. The amount of cable is extendable to 500 m through use of an external reel. After spooling out the trunk cable to the exact required length, the FLEX Reel automatically locks in place, contributing to proper strain-relief and controlling the deployed cable length.

Judge’s comment: “This product is an obvious deployment time-saver, and since it reduces the need for external cable management (for the fiber it delivers), it would certainly relieve space congestion.”
