CommScope’s RD2322 RxD can operate as either a Remote PHY Device or a Remote MACPHY Device. This flexibility enables operators to leverage their installed base of fiber nodes to drive better operational efficiencies, simplify headend operations, and create a clearer path to virtualization. The RD2322 offers a migration path to a Flexible MAC Architecture (FMA) as well.

Judge’s Comment: “Flexibility to move from RPD to RMD does help derisk the initial investment into DAA.”
