At IBC2017 in Amsterdam, Alticast will showcase its cloud TV solutions and technologies for pay TV and online video providers.
Highlights at the company's booth will be AltiPlatform, client software designed to work across Android, RDK and Web platforms; Ambient TV, a software-as-a-service solution for the over-the-top (OTT) video space; Argus, a hacking detection system that uses big data and machine-learning technology for content and revenue security within cloud-based environments; and Voiceable, a user interface featuring an AI-based voice control.
AltiPlatform will be showcased with Ambient TV, which is integrated with OTT core elements, including DRM and multi-DRM systems. Ambient TV ultimately is intended to support cloud UI capabilities, targeted advertising and data platforms for big data analytics as well.
The Alticast stand also will include the AltiPlex Cloud UI, a user interface (UI) virtualization solution for a variety of existing set-top boxes and consumer devices, without the need for high-performance CPUs.
