Ciena’s 8114 Coherent Aggregation Router is purpose-built for 1/20/25/100GbE, 10G PON services, and 100/200/400-Gbps transport. With dense 1/10/25GbE to 400GbE aggregation, including the option of 100-, 200-, and 400-Gbps WaveLogic™ 5 Nano (WL5n), the 8114 addresses the increasing need for high-capacity routing and switching applications at the metro edge.

Judge’s Comment: “The best part of this product is the density and ability to scale. Having solutions to provide to the customer can help any provider as they grow and scale FTTH.”
