Opto Speed and Infomax Optical Technology have signed a cooperation agreement to collaborate on the engineering, manufacturing, and sales of their optoelectronic product portfolios in order to maximize mutual benefits.
Through this joint cooperation, Opto Speed will be able to provide its customers with high performance Fabry-Perrot and Distributed Feedback (DFB) lasers as well as PIN photodetectors packaged in advanced TO-cans and receiver and transmitter optical sub-assemblies. These optical sub-assemblies can be provided to transceiver and transponder manufacturers for the full range of transmission speeds from 155 Mbits/sec up to 2.5 Gbits/sec and even 10 Gbits/sec.
For Infomax, the cooperation agreement allows the company to expand its product portfolio.
