Calix names Michael Weening chief operating officer

Weening sees responsibilities for the broadband network technology company’s Revenue EDGE portfolio to his existing responsibilities leading sales, marketing, services, customer success and product operations.

Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) has promoted Michael Weening to executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO). Weening sees responsibilities for the broadband network technology company’s Revenue EDGE portfolio to his existing responsibilities leading sales, marketing, services, customer success and product operations.

Weening previously was executive vice president, global operations at Calix, a role he had held since December 2019. He joined the company as executive vice president, field (sales, marketing, services, and customer success) in 2016 from Salesforce. His resume includes sales and management roles at Bell and Microsoft, among other companies.
