Spectrum Enterprise partners with AOC to strengthen federal agency reach
Spectrum Enterprise has entered into a strategic partnership with AOC Connect, a minority-controlled, small-business federal government contractor.
As part of the new relationship, Charter Communications sold its minority equity investment in Core Technologies, another small business federal contractor, to AOC Connect. AOC Connect and its parent company, JLC Infrastructure, acquired ownership of Core Technologies in July.
Spectrum has held a long-standing relationship with small businesses that serve the federal government. It has had a formal relationship with Core Technologies, a woman-owned enterprise and a prime contractor on the GSA Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract vehicle. The company said it will build on that foundation with its new owners.
Based in Chantilly, Virginia, AOC Connect is a provider of digital communications infrastructure solutions through OSI Layer 4 to the Government. JLC Infrastructure, an investor and asset management firm, owns AOC Connect.
“AOC Connect is well-known among federal agencies since it has been servicing their technology needs on several contracting vehicles for more than two decades,” said Anthony Wellen, Vice President Federal for Spectrum Enterprise. “AOC Connect’s deep understanding of federal operations combined with our high-performing network, data, cloud, voice, video and other IT solutions will help deliver the transformational solutions required to support agency missions.”
