3 March 2003 -- SchlumbergerSema, a business unit of Schlumberger Limited, is to manage the implementation of the Cisco Internet Service Node (ISN) at Kingston inbusiness, a UK telecommunications provider for businesses and part of the Kingston Communications group.

The Cisco ISN delivers Internet Protocol - Interactive Voice Response (IP-IVR) capabilities.

This is the first UK deployment of the IP-IVR solution that enables operators to offer improved, more cost effective and flexible multi-media call centre services to business customers.

"We were looking for an IT supplier with knowledge of the telecom market and in particular a strong understanding of call centre operations, as well as a proven track record in systems integration and consulting SchlumbergerSema met all our criteria" commented Lance Spencer, Portfolio Director of Kingston inbusiness.

"The quality of an organisation's customer service is a proven differentiator among enterprises of all sectors," commented Guy Lidbetter, head of telecommunications, SchlumbergerSema, UK and Ireland.

"With the implementation of the IP-IVR solution, Kingston inbusiness can now offer its business customers a more cost effective, reliable and relevant solution to manage their call centres, which in turn allows them to improve service to their customers."
